Dear Friend,
“How I wish I could have been there.”
These
are the words e-mailed to us from a long time American missionary
to the Netherlands just a few days after we had began our nearly two week
outreach in that country.
His next statement was amazing… I’ve often
thought and prayed you could come to South East Netherlands.
The province of Limburg is the last “unreached” area of the Netherlands!!! The
drug scene is just as big as in Amsterdam!
As I read his e-mail I was humbled and knew
we were in Europe by divine appointment…
GOD ANSWERED HIS PRAYER!!
The days Nancy and I were in Holland were nearly non-stop
outreach and almost every type of ministry you could think of:
— Evangelism training
— An all day marriage seminar
— A regional women’s meeting
— Leadership training
— A Jesus March
— Outdoor rally
— Evangelistic services
And more.

call.
We were hosted by our gracious friends from Victory Outreach in
each of the four cities we
ministered in… Rotterdam, Amsterdam. Utrecht and Heerlen (this is the city our
missionary friend who wrote us was from).
There was a distinct presence of the Holy Spirit in every meeting Nancy & I
ministered in. Each time we gave an invitation
the altars were full with people making their life right with God, receiving
help for their individual needs and committing
their lives to spread the Gospel. Europe is called the “dark continent”
because of the moral and spiritual darkness that blankets the
land and people. Yet we once again saw the evidence of how “light works
best in darkness!”
Our deepest thanks go to not only our friends Pastor Jerry & Xannelou Mendeszoon
in Rotterdam Victory Outreach for extending
a Macedonian Call to Nancy & I (they did a marvelous job co-coordinating and
hosting us) but to our missionary friend for praying
and also to you. Without your prayers and sacrificial financial gifts we would
not have been able to bring light into darkness.
There is still so much to be done here
in our very own towns and cities.

Ministering life to many at the altar.

outdoor rally in Utrecht.
The missionary who wrote us participated in our New Orleans Mardi Gras Outreach
and our Passion For Souls Conference
years ago.
As we touched his life in a small way his prayers helped open the door for this
divine appointment in the Netherlands that touched
so many lives. Your special gift this month could not be more timely as we seek
to bring more of Jesus’ light into this ever-darkening world.
With your continued prayer and support we will be able to see towns and cities…
men, women and young people reached with the life
transforming message Of Jesus Christ.
God Bless You!!
