Scott Hinkle
Scott
Hinkle, a pastor / evangelist now headquartered in Red Bank, NJ once lived
a life that pointed to only one direction
prison and ultimately an early grave.
In a parking lot in 1970, Scott's life was drastically rearranged as he was told of and experienced the life transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Today, this one time Jewish, heroin addict raised in New Jersey, is leading a charge with a direct and radical message that is having profound effects for the kingdom of God across our nation.
He has been known for his practical, challenging and sometimes
humorous Bible based messages.
Along with his wife Nancy, they founded Scott Hinkle Outreach
Ministries. In 1984, a grass roots revolution began through their "National Conference on Street, Inner-city & Evangelistic Ministry"
(A Passion for Souls), which has trained and ministered to thousands of evangelistic workers, leaders and pastors through the years. Scott,
an author of two books, has also written a
column for Charisma Magazine.
Beyond conducting rallies, outreaches and conferences they lead an annual
multifaceted evangelistic invasion of the Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
Their ministry continually stretches across geographic, social, age and cultural lines.
In 2009, Scott and his family returned to the Jersey Shore to pave the way
for a new church - Jersey Life Church - to be launched through
serving,
reaching out
and building lives and families.
Scott
and Nancy are married with two children. They are both graduates of
Christ For The Nations Institute and are ordained ministers with the
Foursquare Church in Los Angeles, CA.
As a family and ministry they
were a part of Phoenix First Assembly pastored by Tommy Barnett in Phoenix, Arizona
where Scott also served as a church evangelist.
